Community guidelines

Skytrails is a place for pilots to share flights, tips and fly-outs. These guidelines apply to everything other pilots can see: posts, photos, comments, fly-outs, airport-review comments, groups, pilot tags and profile photos. They are part of our terms of service.

Not allowed

Illegal content of any kind.
Hate, harassment, threats, insults, or discrimination against people or groups.
Sexual or pornographic content, and any content that sexualises minors.
Intimate images of anyone shared without their consent.
Violence, glorification of violence, or content encouraging self-harm.
Content you don't have the rights to, including other people's photos.
Other people's personal data (addresses, phone numbers, positions) without their permission.
Impersonating other pilots, organisations, or aircraft.
Spam, advertising, and scams.
Dangerous flying advice presented as safe, or encouragement to break aviation rules.
Encouraging others to fly, or to fly lower, closer or beyond their limits, to earn a badge, record or rank.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the community features.

Reporting and blocking

Every post, comment, fly-out, group and pilot profile has a "…" menu with Report and Block:

Report sends the content to us for review. You get a reference number. Reported content is hidden for you straight away.
Block hides everything a pilot posts, and stops them sending you friend requests or flight invitations. They are not told. Their aircraft stays visible on the Spot Map, for safety.

You can also report content without the app by email to info@stagworks.de, with a link or description of the content, why it breaks these guidelines or the law, your name and email, and a statement that your report is accurate and made in good faith.

Intimate images and child safety

If someone shared an intimate image of you without your consent, report it with the category "Intimate image of me". We remove such content within 48 hours of a valid request, including identical copies we know about.

Content that endangers children is removed immediately and reported to the competent authorities. Threats to someone's life or safety are reported to the police.

Copyright

If content on Skytrails infringes your copyright, report it in the app with the category "Copyright", or email info@stagworks.de with the details listed above and a description of the work.

What happens after a report

We review reports as quickly as we can; urgent categories (child safety, intimate images, threats) first. Depending on how serious a violation is, we may:

warn the author,
hide or remove the content,
suspend posting for 7 days,
permanently close the account.

When we remove your content or restrict your account, we tell you what we did and why, and whether the decision was automated. You can appeal by replying to that message or by emailing info@stagworks.de; a person reviews every appeal.

Automated checks

We may use automated tools to detect obviously illegal or harmful content. An automated decision can always be appealed and is reviewed by a person.
