Questions, ideas or a bug in the app? Write to us — we read every message.

The quickest way is from inside the app: profile picture → Support → Contact us. That way we see which app version you are on. For a bug, please tell us what you did, what happened and which phone you use.

Quick answers

Recording stops when I lock my phone. Skytrails needs location access "While Using the App" (iOS) or "Only while using the app" (Android). Some Android phones end background apps to save battery — if so, exempt Skytrails from battery optimisation.

I can't see my friends on the map. You need to be mutual friends, and your friend has to have switched you on in their live-position sharing. Positions only appear during a recorded flight.

My import is not recognised. Skytrails reads GPX, KML, ForeFlight CSV, Vereinsflieger CSV and GoPro videos with GPS. Open the file via "Share → Skytrails" or from the import menu behind the plus button.

I want to report a post or a pilot. Tap ⋯ → Report on the post or profile. How we handle reports is described in the community guidelines.

I want to delete my account. You can do that right in the app. Every step is on Delete account.
